The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel goes on sale in Europe for €1000

In a sea of gaming smartphones, every manufacturer needs some feature to make their device stand out from the rest. In the case of ASUS and their ROG devices, they get away with bulky, powerful smartphones with bleeding-edge technology. The Legion Phone Duel from Lenovo takes a unique approach to gaming smartphones. We’ve covered this device in plenty of detail in previous articles, but what makes the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel stand out is not its specs. Those are as expected: It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, and a buttery smooth 144Hz display. What makes this phone stand out is that it’s made to be used horizontally.Lenovo Legion Phone Duel

Now, this might seem like a given, considering how it’s a gaming phone and most serious games on Android actually function in a landscape orientation. But Lenovo takes things a bit further as the Legion Phone Duel features a pop-up front camera that sits on the side rather than the top of the phone. This is a boon for users that like to use their phones horizontally rather than vertically, and if you’re going to primarily play games on it, it makes sense.

But we’ll stop beating around the bush now. If the Lenovo Legion Duel sounds like your kind of phone, and you live in Europe, then you will be glad to know that this phone is heading to Europe very soon at a €1000 price tag (via: GSMArena), which is pretty on par with other phones with the same feature set. In some countries, you’ll also be able to split that into four €250 payments, making it much more palatable. You can also use the LEGIONEARLYBIRD promo code to claim either a Lenovo Smart Clock or Lenovo Yoga ANC on-ear headphones for free with your purchase.
